Description

This delightful property enjoys an enviable location overlooking the bustling harbour close to the lifeboat station, with views towards magnificent Bamburgh Castle and the Farne Islands. Walk to the village shops, friendly pubs and restaurants. Wander along the coastal path to the sandy beach with a picnic and head to Bamburgh to visit its dramatic castle, play on its expansive beach and sample the delights of the pubs, cafes and restaurants. Take a boat trip to the Farne Islands to see the birdlife, seals and puffins from April to July. There are golf courses in Seahouses and Bamburgh, and if you like water sports, head to nearby Beadnell Bay. Holy Island is a short drive and Alnwick Castle is a must. From the main door, head up one flight of stairs to the apartment s front door. You will enter into the hallway with coat hooks where you can leave your outdoor clothes and shoes. The welcoming open plan lounge/kitchen/diner is at the end of the hall where you will be greeted by lovely sea views. The lounge is bright and airy with comfortable seating where you can relax after a busy day and catch up on your favourite shows on the Smart TV. Sit together at the large dining table for sociable mealtimes. Gaze out of the French windows which open onto a balcony with bench style seating where you can settle down with a coffee or a glass of something bubbly and watch the activities around the harbour and the boats heading in and out. As night falls, you can watch the sun setting and the sparkling stars over the sea. The kitchen is fully equipped for making your meals and includes an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. There is a radio too, so you can listen while you cook. Head back down the hallway and you will find the double bedroom with its own balcony, patio table and chairs. This catches the morning sun at the front of the building, so you can sit there with your coffee making your plans for the day. There is a separate WC off the hallway. Upstairs, you will find the other two bedrooms. The spacious master bedroom is a real haven with lots of storage space and sea views. The comfortable sofa offers you the perfect spot to enjoy the views towards the Farne Islands or sit with a book. You can get a good night s sleep in the king size bed. The en suite has a bath and WC. The third bedroom is a colourful twin bedroom, perfect for little ones but also suitable for adults. The family bathroom has a large shower cubicle and WC. Outside, you have access to a shared, lawned garden with a couple of benches to sit and enjoy the views across to Bamburgh, the Farne islands and over the harbour. There is parking for one car inside the private, communal car park with electric gates and additional paid parking close to the building, subject to availability. Need to know: 3 bedrooms 1 king size, 1 double and 1 twin bedroom. 2 bathrooms 1 shower room with WC, 1 en suite bathroom with WC, 1 additional separate WC. Electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. Smart TV in the lounge. Wi fi included. Shared garden area to the side of the property (NB dogs not allowed in shared garden). Off road parking for 1 car within the gated car park. Parking permit for a second car in the opposite car park from the apartment called Station Yard Car Park. Beach, shops, pubs and restaurants within walking distance.
