A spacious hallway is the heart of the home linking all the ground floor living areas, which consist of a kitchen/diner and sitting area, the hallway houses a built-in closet with ample space to store coats and shoes, themed in natural colours with Scandinavian pale wood inspired furniture and carefully chosen print artwork, the sitting area offers a relaxing space, sink into one of the plush sofa’s, comfortably seating five, in front of the warming gas fire, or enjoying movies on the large 55” Samsung Smart TV with soundbar and Sky Q, including cinema and kids. A separate snug or media room to chill out is located off the sitting area, it has a sofa and a television with the same Sky package as the lounge, plus a PS4, a perfect space for the kids to escape to. The kitchen/ diner is conveniently located next to the sitting area, the dinning space, within the kitchen, is ideally positioned to take advantage of the garden views through the patio doors, which extend out to a large rear decked area for dining alfresco, inside a large wooden table with modern grey chairs, comfortably seating six, is ideal for entertaining or enjoying meals with all the family, two dual aspect windows looking out onto the front garden, flood the whole space in natural light, the contemporary kitchen, with white gloss lower cabinets, sparkly artic white countertops and matching low-level splash backs, is well appointed with everything you need for a week’s stay, a separate utility room, off the dining area, houses a washer/dryer, fridge freezer and a combination microwave, this room is also accessible through the garage. There is a choice of three comfortable bedrooms, these are all located on the first floor benefiting from either costal or garden views, the master king sized bedroom has a private en-suite with an enclosed shower, the second room is fitted with a beautifully dressed Super king-sized zip & link bed as standard, which can made up as two single beds on request, the third room is a single, all rooms are lit with natural light through windows and offer plenty of storage space. The family bathroom is located next to the bedrooms, this is a great space to relax, with a deep bath and a shower-over, if you prefer a quick refreshing shower an additional bathroom with a corner enclosed shower is located on the ground floor. The tranquil and lush garden seamlessly wraps itself around three sides of the property, laid to lawn with Cornish palms, the rear garden is enclosed by fencing and a secure gate, ideal for the children to play, a large decked area, accessed through the double doors within the open plan kitchen/dining room, has garden furniture and a barbeque provided, so you can enjoy dining alfresco in the Cornish sun, a garage offers a fabulous space for hanging wet suits, surf boards and storing beach accessories. The South West Coast Path nearby heads towards Hayle Estuary in one direction and St Ives in the other, if you enjoy walking this cliff path runs alongside Cornwall’s dramatic coastline, wonderful for spotting the wildlife even seals and dolphins at times. Carbis Bay Beach is just a short walk, its simply stunning with crystal clear, Blue Flag, awarded waters and golden sand, the secluded bay is lifeguarded at peak times, making it ideal for trying out the water sports on offer. St Ives is a pretty traditional Cornish fishing village, surrounded by sandy beaches and dotted with picturesque fishing cottages and a working harbour, this tourist hot spot has numerous restaurants, cafes and individual boutiques amongst its cobbled streets, it also famous for inspiring artist with may galleries showcasing their work, the largest is The Tate and Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden, and definitely worth visiting, after exploring, hop on the St Ives scenic railway for a relaxing return to Carbis Bay, the journey hugs the coastline and is truly breath-taking. A day out exploring the filming locations of the BBC TV series Poldark with its hidden coves and tin mines will provide a snap shot of the Duchy’s history and beauty, or maybe you prefer glorious gardens Cornwall has so many to enjoy including an enclosed rainforest at the Eden Project, near St Austell, some great shots for your selfies have to include the iconic sign post at Land’s End, on the stage of the Minack nearby, this open air theatre is cut out of a Cornish cliff edge, on the beach in front of St Michaels Mount, near Penzance, as the sun sets is just majestic, the little ones will enjoy feeding the animals at Paradise Park, in Hayle and older kids will love the thrills of the rides at Flambards Theme Park, near Helston.
