You are greeted to the property with a large private driveway, with plenty of room to park, as well as a patch of lawn to the side and a bench out front so guests can enjoy their morning coffee in the fresh air as they watch the world go by. Stepping into the property, there is a kitchen/diner, with everything you need to rustle up your favourite home cooked meals or prepare a picnic to take out for the day, there is also a dining table so all loved ones can gather together over breakfast to plan the day ahead. Moving into the living/dining room which has a traditional exposed beams, unique stained glass windows, a gorgeous stone feature wall with another dining table placed against it so guests can toast to a wonderful holiday over an evening meal, two large patio doors making the room bright and airy, and plenty of space to grab your spot on the sofa and flick on the television. There is also a contemporary shower room with a spacious walk-in shower for guests to get ready in style, and a king-size bedroom with wooden furnishings throughout, including a dressing table and plenty of storage, so guests can make themselves feel at home, and a wash basin. To finish the property, there is a magnificent super-king-size bedroom with it's own wash basin, as well as more stained glass windows and exposed stone wall, complimenting the traditional furniture, which includes an idyllic rocking chair. Take a short walk round Flookburgh where you can find a fish and chip shop, a train station, a shop for any essentials you may need, a bakery and a pub serving food for those fancy evenings out. Take a short drive into Grange-over-Sands, where you can a stroll along the promenade, take a picnic to the Ornamental Gardens, play a round at the golf course, or take advantage of the shops, bars and eateries in the area. Also in driving distance is the gorgeous Holker Hall with it's 200 acre gardens and woodlands, or the village of Cartmel with its popular racecourse and historic Priory Gatehouse and priory. Flookburgh is a historic village set near the shores of Morecambe Bay on the outskirts of the Lake District.
