Description

It is a great base from which to explore the area, with a large and enclosed sunny garden and one off-road parking space. The accommodation has a versatile combination of beds with two king sized bedrooms, a double and a further bunk bedroom. The garden at the rear provides a perfect setting for family al fresco dining, morning croissants or lunchtime Cornish pasties will still be warm from the Rock bakery; just a stone's throw from the front door! The magnificent Camel Estuary is a wonderfully diverse area to enjoy any number of water sports. A short ferry crossing to the fishing harbour of Padstow will delight all in your party. If the tide is high you'll be whizzed straight across the estuary and into the busy harbour or on a low tide you'll be deposited on the beautiful white sands of the beaches below St Saviours point. Rock offers a mile of golden sand and dunes to explore, or take to the water for sailing and water-skiing. Round the coastline lies two other magnificent beaches; Daymer Bay with its sheltered bathing waters and Polzeath with waves a plenty for surfers and body boarders.

Rock is a desirable and much sought after coastal village located on the north eastern bank of the River Camel opposite the famous harbour town of Padstow which is easily reached by a regular ferry service. The summer home of royalty and celebrities offering top class restaurants and quality shops, the real draw is the array of watersports including sailing, water skiing, windsurfing and angling. Continuing on a sporting theme, the golf course at nearby St Enodoc is considered to be one of the best in the country. With an abundance of world class beaches all within a short radius it is easy to see why Rock holds its popularity.
