Snowdonia Suite is a wonderful second floor apartment occupying an excellent position within this historic Grade II listed building, which dates back to the early 1800s and formed part of the original cobbled harbour in the town. The apartment enjoys some stunning and uninterrupted views over the picturesque Porthmadog harbour, encompassing the estuary, mountains and the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Steam Railways.

Accessed via 31 external stone steps this beautiful apartment certainly rewards you once inside with some wonderful views, not to mention the modern, relaxed and stylish interior. The apartment is an ideal base to explore the beautiful scenery of the Snowdonia National Park and the local sandy beaches and would suit a couple, two friends or a small family. Chic, modern and contemporary the open plan living accommodation naturally divides into a well-equipped and up to date kitchen area, a comfy area for dining, opening to a lovely sitting area with wonderful comfy custom made Chesterfield sofas to sink into and relax with your feet up after a long day out and about walking on the mountains and exploring the wonderful delights the area offers. Two well-appointed bedrooms, both with flat screen TVs, with the main bedroom also boasting a king-size bed, and a spacious shower room with large walk in shower completes this wonderful holiday apartment. The Snowdonia Suite is entitled to use a shared decked courtyard on the next level, this is shared with three other holiday apartments, and the decked garden has some wonderful elevated views. The apartment is superbly placed to enjoy the town's eclectic mix of independent shops, galleries, restaurants, pubs and tea rooms, along with some of North Wales' best attractions on the doorstep, the world famous Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland steam railways, and just a couple of miles away the Italianate village and gardens of Portmeirion. There are some lovely walks, the famous Cob, a sea wall built by W A Maddock who gave his name to this once busy seafaring town, or take a gentle stroll along the coast to the Black Rock Sands beach or the pretty little village of Borth-y-Gest. The children will love crabbing off the harbour wall, crazy golf in the park or for something completely different, why not try llama trekking? Enjoy the stunning landscapes, or visit the historic castles at Criccieth, Harlech and Caernarfon. Explore the Llyn Peninsula, the many watersports opportunities at Abersoch, and the quaint fishing village of Aberdaron. With plenty on hand, Snowdonia Suite is an ideal base for a short stay or longer all year round.
