The Forest of Dean offers a wide array of outdoor activities such as cycling, walking, horse riding, fishing, canoeing, and kayaking on the River Wye. The historic cathedral city of Gloucester is 10 miles away where you can enjoy the tall ships at the docks on a lazy day shopping at the Quays. Step into the peace and tranquillity of this beautifully finished cottage. The accommodation is perfect for couples offering an open plan living space with a mezzanine that has high ceilings and natural light. The cosy lounge is situated to the front of the cottage where you can relax after a day of exploring and enjoy the warmth from the wood burner. The kitchen/diner is to the rear enjoying natural light from the glazed French doors. The well equipped kitchen offers an electric oven and hob, fridge with ice compartment, a washing machine and for dining, a small table and chairs. There is also a bathroom with a handheld shower over bath and WC on the ground floor. When the day is done climb the stairs to the mezzanine double bedroom set within the eaves there is also a WC within this space. The enclosed Japanese style garden is accessed via the French doors, south facing with table and chairs and tranquil water feature. There is side access for bikes and muddy dogs. There is roadside parking subject to availability to the front of the cottage. Need to know: 1 bedroom 1 double. 1 bathroom with handheld shower over bath and WC.
