Bordered by the lake on one side and the majestic fells on the other, the location is ideal for the outdoor enthusiast. Within a short drive there are walks at all levels, cycling, horse riding, fishing, sailing, canoeing, ghyll scrambling and golf. The towns of Keswick and Penrith are a 20-minute drive and the lake road takes you over the Kirkstone Pass down into Ambleside and Windermere. Shop 2 miles, pub 1 mile, restaurant 200 yards.
