Courtyard and sitting-out area with furniture. Parking (2 cars). No smoking. NB: 5 steps in courtyard. . This charming semi-detached cottage is set in the delightful coastal village of Sandhead. It enjoys an enviable location within a stone’s throw of the beautiful sandy beach which, in low tide stretches for three miles. At high tide small boats can be launched at both the beach and Sandhead Bay and fishing can be enjoyed locally. The cottage has been completely renovated and offers beautiful holiday accommodation with solid wood flooring in the lounge and good facilities in the bathrooms. The kitchen is well-equipped with a dining area with extending dining table for six. This quiet and peaceful corner of south west Scotland boasts rugged coastlines and secluded sandy beaches which benefit from the warmth of the passing Gulf stream. There are many beautiful gardens to explore, including the world renowned Logan Botanical Gardens. Along with Sandhead there are many other pretty little seaside villages and ports to visit. The RSPB Scotland Mull of Galloway Nature Reserve where thousands of seabirds nest in the cliff face during the spring and summer is well worth a visit.
