Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial logs for open fire included. Highchair.. Lawned woodland garden with sitting-out area and garden furniture. Bike store. Private parking for 3 cars. No smoking. Please note: There is an unfenced stream in the garden, 20 yards away and an unfenced pond 150 yards.. Just a few minutes walk from the pretty conservation village of Denholm with its village greens, good pubs and a restaurant, this spacious cottage is privately situated near the entrance to the owner’s home, which is ¼-mile further on. Set in mature woodland and a small stream bordering the open garden, it’s an idyllic place for children to play and explore, or for others to simply soak up the peace and tranquillity. Bright, welcoming and comfortably furnished, this is a great base for discovering the lovely Borders region. Kelso and Melrose have lots of interest with Floors Castle, Mellerstain House, ancient abbeys and an array of independent shops and good places to eat. Minto Golf Course is just ½-mile and there is fishing on the River Teviot and the River Tweed.
