Kitchen area: With electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer. Bedroom 1: With kingsize bed. Bedroom 2: With twin beds. Bathroom: With bath, shower cubicle and toilet. . Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and logs for wood burner included. Travel cot and highchair available on request.. Large garden with sitting-out area and garden furniture. 2 dogs welcome, to be kept on a lead at all times (sheep country). Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: There is an unfenced river and steep banks in the garden, 50 yards away. The property is accessed via an unmade track and the water supply is from a well.. Enjoying a peaceful rural setting at the end of a private road this lovely semi-detached cottage has been sympathetically converted to combine contemporary amenities along with the original features, including diamond paned windows and beamed ceilings. From the living room, French doors lead out to a delightful secluded garden with a forested pathway running through it to the scenic Princess View which overlooks a dramatic stretch of the River Findhorn. Salmon fishing is available from here and licences can be obtained from the Moray Estate office. A Wee Gem makes a super base for exploring the many delights this area has to offer or for relaxing in front of the warmth of the wood burner. The area is renowned for its excellent selection of walks, mountain bike trails, horse riding, golf and fishing along with a variety of watersports including white water rafting, canoeing and boat trips – hopefully you will catch sight of the Moray Firth bottlenose dolphins on your trip. The Moray coastline was voted amongst the top 20 in the world for coastal destinations and with its quaint coastal villages along with miles of white sandy beaches, it is a well deserved award. Take a trip along the only malt whisky trail in the world with two of the distilleries close by – Dallas Dhu and Benromach or visit the shopping outlets Brodie Countryfare and Logie Steading for some retail therapy. Slightly further afield you can visit the Highland capital of Inverness, the beautiful Loch Ness or visit some of the areas historical sites including Culloden Battlefield, Fort George and Brodie and Cawdor Castles. The Cairngorm National Park is only a 25-minute drive away with its five ski resorts, a funicular railway and a host of attractions and activities for the whole family to enjoy.
