Commanding glorious views, this charming, terraced, former quarryman’s cottage has a small, enclosed courtyard at the first floor level, and provides a comfortable base from which to explore the stunning countryside of the Snowdonia National Park. It is perfectly positioned to make the most of the region’s exhilarating outdoor pursuits, golden sandy beaches, historic castles and rugged mountains. There are walking opportunities from the door, and historic Caernarfon is close by with its impressive castle and fine selection of pubs, shops and restaurants; it is also the start of the Welsh Highland Railway for scenic journeys into the heart of the Snowdonia National Park. A drive eastwards from the cottage through the Nantlle Valley takes you to Rhyd Ddu, the starting point of one of the footpaths to Snowdon and also a station on the Welsh Highland Railway. Beaches of the Llŷn Peninsula are within easy reach, as is the beautiful isle of Anglesey. Beach 5 miles. Shop 1 mile, pub 3½ miles and restaurant 8 miles. Free WiFi
