This fantastic cottage makes a great place for walkers and cyclists, with the Calderdale Way and Pennine Way both within easy reach. Thurst House Farm Holiday Cottage (UKC1504) is a single-storey, detached studio with an open plan living, dining room and bedroom, and private use of a patio with outdoor furniture. The welcoming owners can provide wonderful extras by prior arrangement, ranging from a hearty breakfast, evening meals, homemade bread, marmalades and jams, to an in-house beauty and holistic treatment (these can either be offered in the privacy of the property, or at the owner’s guest house). With a history in bed manufacturing, you can certainly look forward to a good night’s sleep. Ripponden itself is a village close to the market town of Sowerby Bridge, in West Yorkshire. There are many attractions within easy reach including the Royal Armouries Museum, Brontë Parsonage Museum, National Media Museum and the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway, which can all be reached within 40 minutes’. Yorkshire Sculpture Park, Cannon Hall Museum and the fabulous Harewood House are an hour away.
