Peacefully located overlooking fields and standing on the edge of Hurn Forest, this delightful and welcoming, detached, single-storey home makes an ideal bolt hole for couples looking to explore this lovely area, and has footpaths leading from the door. Its open plan living/kitchen area opens onto a large, enclosed patio garden with bistro table offering a relaxing outlook over fields where ponies graze – the ideal spot to enjoy an aperitif or al fresco dining! The double bedroom has a large walk-in wardrobe and a small sectioned area with a desk. There are also many thoughtfully added touches, such as USB sockets, skylights for additional natural light, family games, books, and even toiletries. Across the lane is a public footpath, ideal for walks, and the friendly owners live adjacent and welcome a well behaved dog (they have two small dogs who are very sociable!). There is so much to do in this area: Ringwood is nearby, and within easy driving distance are beaches (the closest being only 8 miles at Bournemouth or Poole) and also Sandbanks and Studland Bay. Poole Nature Reserve, Brownsea Island, and to the west, The Purbecks, Corfe Castle and the Jurassic Coastline are all worth a visit. Moors Valley is a popular place to visit and is dog friendly - as well as scenic walks and excellent wildlife spotting, there is a host of recreational activities. Avon Heath nearby for keen walkers, and there are various fishing lakes (mainly carp) and golf courses in the area. The New Forest National Park is easily accessible, as is the charming town of Fordingbridge which has a host of shops, cafés and eateries, as well as the gently flowing River Avon. Visit the cathedral cities of Winchester and Salisbury, or Christchurch Harbour and Stonehenge.
