Village shops, cafés, pubs and restaurant are all just a short drive away. Welborne is ideally located in the centre of Norfolk, perfect for visiting the North Norfolk coast, Holt, Norwich, the Broads, RSPB reserves, Castle Acre, the Royal Sandringham Estate and National Trust properties such as Blickling Hall. Cambridge, Suffolk and Thetford Forest are also within reach for day trips. It is approximately a 20-minute drive to Norwich city centre with its castle, cathedral, historic shopping areas including the market, malls, cafés, pubs, restaurants, theatres and cinemas. The University of East Anglia is just a 15-minute drive. Two golf courses can be found within a 5-minute drive, and coarse trout fishing lakes are just a 10-minute drive away.
