Mirador Apartment is a spacious and bright property which has been tastefully furnished and equipped to make for an enjoyable and relaxing stay. Relax in the living room and on the south facing balcony to take in the stunning views to Ben Nevis, Glen Nevis and Fort William with Loch Linnhe and Loch Eil. The apartment is located in a prime, peaceful residential road with no through traffic, with hill and moor country to the north and there are good local transport links on the main road just 100 yards away. Banavie is on the outskirts of Fort William, just 3½ miles distant. Fort William is known as the Outdoor Capital of the UK with world championship mountain bike trials at Nevis Range, six day cycle events, kayaking, mountaineering, canyoning and skiing, as well as walking on the long distance Great Glen Way. The area has so much to offer in the way of attractions all within easy reach of Mirador Apartment including Neptune’s Staircase, a series of eight locks on the Caledonian Canal, boat trips on Loch Linnhe, visits to Ben Nevis Whisky Distillery and the Hogwarts Express steam train to Mallaig (from Fort William station). Day trips to Arisaig and the small isles make for interesting outings. You may even catch a game of shinty (similar to hockey) at Kilmallie Park nearby. A canal side hotel is just ¼ mile away where you can enjoy refreshments throughout the day. Why not treat yourself to an evening meal too! Fort William has several supermarkets and a good range of other stores, whilst local shops can be found at Corpach and Caol, ½ a mile away.
