The famous wide, Sheringham Beach is a sandy beach, just a 3-minute walk away and you can be in the town centre in two minutes. Here you will find a good mix of high street favourites and boutique shops. The town itself boasts lots of great places to eat to suit all tastes and budgets and is also home to the much celebrated North Norfolk Railway, from which you can take steam train tours along the coast. You may find it hard to tear yourself away from Sheringham but if you do, you will find lots of pretty coastal towns and villages offering a variety of sandy and shingle beaches, marshes and picturesque quays. Nature lovers will enjoy the opportunity to explore Sheringham Park, which offers over 100 acres of unspoilt walks including a breath-taking cliff top trail. For something a little more exotic, why not visit Amazonia Zoo, located close to the seaside town of Cromer where you will also find the famous Cromer Pier, Edwardian promenade, a multiplex cinema and lots of shops, cafés and restaurants to explore.
