This semi-detached holiday cottage, with off road parking for one small car, is set in the very heart of the popular village of Bourton-on-the-Water, famed for its series of low stone bridges which span the fast flowing River Windrush. Plenty of sightseeing opportunities include the model village, Cotswold Motor Museum, Birdworld and perfumery. There are many individual shops, cafés and restaurants to enjoy as well as a gentle stroll by the water’s edge. Other nearby honey-coloured villages are well worth a visit, including Stow-on-the-Wold, Moreton-in-Marsh with its famous Tuesday market and Chipping Campden. The city of Gloucester, with its magnificent cathedral and tomb of Edward II is within easy reach. There is also the Regency city of Cheltenham with its famous racecourse. There are National Trust properties abound, including Snowshill Manor and Woodchester Park.
