On the ground floor you’ll find an open-plan living/dining room with wood burner and a kitchen with a good sized fridge/freezer and handy washer/dryer. A choice of king size, double and single bedrooms are upstairs so you have many options for your party. A large family bathroom is also upstairs, with a shower over bath, and toilet. With plenty of attractions locally and an abundance of shops, pubs and restaurants, guests will find this an excellent base. It’s ideal for golfers with a choice of great courses nearby. A short drive will take you to the neighbouring villages of Ambleside and Grasmere which are set in the heart of Wordsworth country. The location is superb, just a 5 minute walk down to Windermere centre and a 20 minute walk to the lake at Bowness, where you can enjoy a boat trip. Take one of the many country walks from the doorstep or explore central Lakeland by car. Shops, pub and restaurant 0.5 miles. Free WiFi
