Attractive artwork and stylish colours make this a perfectly relaxing space. A large comfy sofa wraps around the room, inviting you to curl up after a day of exploring. The modern and well-equipped kitchen has all your modern appliances, with a small dining area to sit and enjoy breakfast or supper. The hallway leads off to a large shower room, then up two steps to the spacious bedroom with a super kingsize bed which can be made into twin beds on request. Outside the property, there is a gravelled area, a pleasant place to sit and relax in the sun, set with garden bench and bistro table. A short stroll brings you to the village shop (open mornings only) and local inn, serving good beer and wholesome food. A short drive will take you to the bustling market town of Northallerton, where you will find an array of independent shops, restaurants, tearooms, artisan bakery, delis and award-winning butcher. The beautiful wide high street showcases some fine Georgian architecture. With a twice weekly market every Wednesday and Saturday, you can buy fresh local produce. Enjoy afternoon tea in the famous Bettys tea room, an absolute treat for all. For the outdoor enthusiast, the property is perfectly situated in an area which offers outstanding walking and riding, close to the Yorkshire Dales National Park and the North York Moors National Park, making it perfect for great days out in some of Britain’s most beautiful landscapes. The local market towns of Bedale, Ripon and Thirsk are a short drive with the historic city of York just under an hour away. From Northallerton, the high speed rail link to York takes 20 minutes, an enjoyable day out to walk the historic walls, visit the famous York Minster and take a trip back in time at the Jorvik Viking Centre.
