This holiday home is situated in the popular town of Brora with a beautiful beach, wide selection of shops and places to eat. The property offers guests a good level of comfort throughout. There is a cosy living room with an open fire and comfortable furniture, an open plan kitchen/dining room, two bedrooms one with a double bed and one with twin beds both served by a family shower room. Outside there is a large garden which is enclosed and parking for 2 cars. Brora is a perfect base from which to explore this area of stunning Highland coastline. Keep a pair of binoculars and your camera at the ready as there is plenty of wildlife to see including grey seals, deer and dolphins. Walkers will enjoy the miles of golden sandy beaches, perfect for your children to play in the fresh sea air. The quiet country lanes are perfect for cyclists, including the famous North Coast 500 tourist route and John O Groats is a little over 80 minutes away. Golfers can enjoy the James Braid course at Brora Golf Club, or try your luck fishing for salmon in the many rivers within the region. Malt Whisky trailers can stop off at the Clynelish Distillery, 1 mile, or a visit to Dunrobin Castle, 5 miles, home to the Earl of Sutherland and has beautiful views overlooking Dornoch Firth. The village of Brora has all the essentials you need for during your stay, independent shops showcasing local arts and crafts, numerous coffee shops, restaurants and bakeries, and local friendly bars to enjoy good conversation over a drink or two.
