Kitchen/dining room: With breakfast area, electric cooker, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and beams.. First Floor: Bedroom 1: With kingsize bed. Bedroom 2: With twin beds. Bathroom: With shower over bath, toilet and heated towel rail.. Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial logs for wood burner included, remainder at £10 per basket. Welcome pack.. Large, enclosed lawned garden with sitting-out area, garden furniture and BBQ. Natural, un-spoilt grounds with patio (shared with owner). 2 dogs welcome, to be kept on a lead at all times outside of garden. Bike store. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: The property has a natural water supply from a borehole. There are slopes in the grounds, and an unfenced stream 200 yards away.. High House Cottage is a delightful, stone-built cottage tucked away at the end of a long private track, surrounded by beautiful Yorkshire countryside. Adjoining the friendly owners’ farmhouse, the cottage is full of character, with the light and airy living room boasting stone sills, exposed stone walls and a fabulous wood burner. Outside, the setting is beautiful with a private, paved patio area providing the perfect space to relax at the end of a long day. Around 10 minutes from the thriving, west Yorkshire village of Addingham and the picturesque spa town of Ilkley, where you can find a good range of shops, excellent pubs serving food, supermarkets, restaurants, cafés and other general amenities, all available within easy reach. On the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, ample walks are available from the doorstep, and nearby Bolton Abbey (15 minutes) is one of the region’s most scenic areas, with a walk along the river a must. The property is also situated directly on the Millennium Way walking route. People travel the length and breadth of the country to visit the charming market town of Skipton (15 minutes) with its ancient castle, cobbled high street and colourful street market. Both Malham and Grassington can be reached in around half an hour and offer beautiful limestone scenery. Shop and restaurant 1¼ miles, pub 1 mile. Free WiFi
