The Southdowns National Park is nearby with beautiful countryside with far reaching sea views and if you are looking for a challenge there’s the 100 mile South Downs Way. You can of course explore the cliffs which formed around sixty five million years ago when the area was covered by warm shallow tropical sea. Annual events to enjoy include International Tennis in June at Devonshire Park and the Airborne International Air Show in August.
