The beach is just 150 yards away, making this a great base for a family holiday or for two couples to enjoy a break away together. Filey is a traditional seaside resort and has won many awards for having one of the best beaches in the UK. With over a 4 mile stretch of wide sandy beach, it is great for the children and large enough to have your own private sunbathing areas. The east coast boast several popular seaside resorts from Bridlington and Flamborough Head to the south and the larger resorts of Scarborough and Whitby to the north. Hope Apartment gives you easy access to all. The RSPB bird sanctuary is just along the coast at Bempton Cliffs. Here you can see thousands of migrating seabirds perched on the chalk cliffs. People travel from worldwide to see the comical puffins in their thousands. The medieval city of York is only an hour away, boasting a number of museums, from the wonderful Yorkshire Railway Museum to the Jorvik Viking centre. For those of you who enjoy the theatre York has several so you are spoilt for choice. There’s open top tourist buses and river boats to guide you around this wonderful city. Hope Apartment has been refurbished in 2019 to a good standard, encompassing a modern open plan kitchen/living room area with large windows overlooking Hope Street, a great place to sit and watch the world go by. The owner has provided a large TV in the living room, as well as both bedrooms. The kitchen area is modern and has a large American style fridge with ice and cold water facility. A dishwasher and washing machine are also within this well-equipped kitchen. For a great base to visit Yorkshire, this apartment ticks the box. Beach 150 yards.
