It’s based outside the picturesque village Iddesleigh with views to Dartmoor, Exmoor and Bodmin Moors, as well as the private 96 acres of organic land. The house occupies a wonderful elevated position set in a private and quiet location. It has two zip and link super kingsize bedrooms, a kingsize bedroom and a single bedroom located on the first floor. The master bedroom has a large dressing area and an en-suite shower room. Downstairs, there is a large living room with a conservatory attached to the side, a spacious hallway by the front door, a dining room, a large kitchen, utility and a downstairs toilet. The village of Iddesleigh is well known for its popular public house, while the surrounding countryside is well known for its association with Michael Morpurgo’s book and subsequent film ‘War Horse’. The tourist attraction War Horse Valley Country Farm Park is just a 5 minute drive away, where visitors can enjoy a cream tea, a tractor and trailer ride, explore the museum, a farm trail and meet the friendly animals. Four miles away the larger community of Winkleigh has an excellent range of facilities including a village store, post office, butchers, two public houses and a petrol station. A wider range of services and facilities are available in the nearby market town of Hatherleigh. Whilst Okehamapton, only 12 miles away, is known as the Gateway to Dartmoor and has a supermarket and numerous interesting boutiques and restaurants. Beach 21 miles.
