Tucked away, hidden from view, this spacious detached cottage, with enclosed lawned garden stands a few steps from the high street in the market town of Stalham, with eateries, shops, post office and a supermarket on the doorstep. Having the best of both worlds, with excellent sandy beaches and the famous Norfolk Broads both easily accessible. Stalham Staithe is a 5-minute walk away with access to the Norfolk Broads where you can find and enjoy daily boat hire and river trips to explore the miles of waterways, river fishing (seasonal and licence required). At the Norfolk Broads Museum (seasonal opening) you can discover the history of boating and The Broads. Sea Palling is just an 11-minute drive with an excellent sandy beach (life guards on duty in summer(, backed with sand dunes, cafés, pub and amusements. The bustling town of Wroxham, known as the capital of the Broads, is only 7¾ miles with shops, supermarket, cafés and restaurants. This is also home to the Bure Valley Railway, a narrow steam gauge railway visiting the nearby village of Coltishall and the market town of Aylsham. For quieter sandy beaches, take a trip to Waxham and Horsey, where wide sandy beaches back on to sand dunes. During the months of November and January parts of Horsey beach are protected whilst the grey seal colony give birth, a great opportunity to visit and see nature up close. For great family fun days visit BeWILDerwood, a tree top adventure in Horning, Roar Dinasaur Park at Lenwade, indoor soft play, slides, outdoor adventure and splash park and Wroxham Barns with a small petting farm and play park. The city of Norwich has two excellent indoor shopping malls, market square, cafés, restaurants, pubs, cathedral, theatre and castle museum. The livelier seaside resort of Great Yarmouth, is only 16 miles away with amusements, fun fair, pier, wax works, shops and restaurants.
