The village is home to Ilam Park, 158 acres of parkland managed by the National Trust and just perfect for families with gentle riverside walks and a tea room garden. Close by you’ll also find the beautiful Dovedale valley and the Dovedale Stepping Stones, which have been a huge draw for the Peak District since they were laid in the mid-19th century. A plethora of walking and cycling is available for all abilities through stunning scenery, and the quintessential English market town of Ashbourne is just a 15-minute drive away, where you’ll find many pubs, café’s, restaurants and antique shops.
