Pen Y Crug is situated down a quiet country lane neighbouring a working farm in Llanafan Fawr, and is a traditional Welsh cottage with lots of features and character. It is situated in a rural location and is perfect for those who want to walk in the open countryside. Ideally situated with walks from the door and for cyclists alike. Plenty of scope for relaxation and ideal for bird watching with the Red Kites and Buzzards being an every day sight. The property is located 6 miles from the market town of Builth Wells, with vast amounts of coffee shops, pubs and restaurants. It is also home to the Royal Welsh Showground which hosts a variety of shows over the year including the Spring Festival and the Royal Welsh Show in July. There are also plenty of animal shows throughout the year such as dog and horse events. For those wanting to take in the countryside, then Elan Valley is 15 miles from the property and has some outstanding views of the reservoirs and dams. There is the famous literary festival at the market town of Hay on Wye just 35 minutes away and the Brecon Beacons within a beautiful easy drive of 17 miles.
