There is something for everyone, head to the nature reserve to observe the Rutland Osprey Project; hire bikes for a ride in the 4,200 acres of open countryside; enjoy adrenalin fuelled water sports, including sailing, canoeing, paddle boarding and windsurfing; go fishing; play a round of golf, be it 18 hole or crazy golf; or simply relax on the seasonal beach. The historic market towns of Oakham and Uppingham are within 3 miles and enjoy an array of antique shops and galleries, independent shops and eateries to discover. A little further is the historic Georgian town of Stamford 12 miles, with its cobbled streets and individual shops. Other places to visit during your stay at Broccoli Bottom include Burghley House, Belvoir and Rockingham Castles, Rockingham Speedway and Barnsdale Gardens. With so much to see and do, and with such a warm welcome from the owner, you’ll make Broccoli Bottom the No.1 choice for accommodation in this beautiful part of the UK.
