It is a warm and welcoming retreat with wood burners in both the living room and dining room, perfect for those chillier nights where you can sit and relax either in front of the TV or over a lovely home cooked meal. Situated in the heart of 7 Stanes mountain biking country, so for the biking enthusiasts you have stumbled across your dream destination. Bridgend Cottage East could not be better placed to enjoy this stunning area. Just a few minutes along the road is Southerness where you can enjoy a walk along the beach or for the golf enthusiasts, try the famous links course then enjoy a well-earned drink or meal in the hotel and restaurant. Within a mile from the cottage, RSPB Mereshead is an exensive wetland and saltmarsh which offers year round bird and wildlife watching. There are many delightful gardens and historical attractions to visit, or alternatively you could just take a drive along the coast road and explore the many little sandy beaches and delightful little villages along the way.
