First Floor: Bedroom 3: With kingsize bed and en-suite with shower over bath, toilet and heated towel rail.. Electric storage heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial logs for wood burner included. Garden with lawned area, garden furniture and barbecue. Summerhouse. Private parking for 4 cars. No smoking. There is a natural water supply from a borehole.. A lovely, characterful cottage in Exmoor National Park just minutes from the beautiful historic market town of Dulverton. A perfect place for long walks and exploring Somerset and Devon. Dulverton is a small, lively town with independent shops, award winning restaurants, pubs and tea rooms serving locally sourced produce. The Granary is suitable for couples or families looking to relax, explore and have fun. It is a spacious former barn set over three storeys and is entered by a bridge to the ground floor where you will find a large open plan kitchen, dining and living area which has plenty of seating for you and your fellow guests to socialise and plan your days of adventures. The well-equipped kitchen has everything you could need to prepare a family meal and after a fun-filled day exploring Exmoor. You can kick back on the plush sofas in the living area, relax in front of the wood burner and watch your favourite show on the TV. A winding staircase leads to the master en-suite bedroom on the first floor. On the lower ground floor is a shower room, twin room and a large double room that looks out on to a small patio area. There is a private two-tiered garden with a summerhouse and plenty of outdoor seating. Dulverton’s good selection of shops and pubs are within easy reach, and with this being the centre of the Exmoor National Park, you are surrounded by beautiful countryside to walk, cycle or ride. Exmoor has been designated as a Dark Sky Reserve, where the light pollution is low and plenty of stargazing can be done. Near to Dulverton is the majestic lake at Wimbleball Country Park, the first Dark Skies Discovery Centre on Exmoor. Wimbleball is also a premier trout fishing location, and provides tuition in numerous water sports, including sailing, windsurfing and canoeing. Further afield the north Somerset coastline has sandy beaches at Minehead, picturesque harbours and plenty of wild walking around Porlock Weir.
