Couple only, no children.. Little Willows is a spacious annexe with accommodation all on the one level, set next to the owner’s home. It offers a central location on the Island which is ideal for exploring all the Isle of Wight. It is extremely comfortable for couples, with one kingsize bedroom, with en-suite shower room, open plan living/dining room, kitchen, conservatory and a small garden with a decked seating area to its rear. This lovely holiday home enjoys a rural setting and there are fabulous views across the surrounding countryside. The historic Arreton Valley runs through the rural heart of the island and has been a centre for agriculture for hundreds of years. The village has two highly regarded inns, and a renowned farm shop as well as its medieval fishpond village green and the 12th century church, a network of scenic rural footpaths and cycle tracks are on the doorstep with the Isle of Wight’s main cycle route close by which links Cowes, Newport and Sandown. The island has become a real hot spot for cycling enthusiasts with a choice of challenging off-road bridleways, peaceful byways and level purpose-made tracks running along former railway lines. You can also travel along the route at a more leisurely pace, stopping off along the way at one of the many restaurants, pubs and cafés that can be found in the quaint villages and towns. Outdoor pursuits on the island include horse riding, fishing, paragliding, golf and water sports. There are numerous attractions across the island to discover for all ages, such as The Needles with its chairlift, amusement park, boat rides, lighthouse and coloured sands of Alum Bay, Blackgang Chine, Dinosaur Isle, the Isle of Wight Steam Railway, Ventnor Botanical Gardens, Tapnell Farm Park and Carisbrooke Castle. You can even pay a visit to Queen Victoria’s favourite holiday residence, Osborne House and its gardens. The sailing towns of Yarmouth and Cowes also make for a great day out. Beach 5 miles.
