Peak Dale View is a deceptively spacious, period terraced cottage that can be found in a central location in the High Peak market town of Glossop. Perfect for groups, of families and friends The cottage benefits from a bright and airy conservatory that leads out onto a long enclosed lawned garden. At the back of the property is Manor Park, ideal for those with children, and across the road you’ll find a good pub serving food. Glossop itself is a thriving market town with lots of cafés, pubs, restaurants and shops from specialist independents to famous national brands all of which are around a 10-minute walk. Nestled on the edge of the Peak District National Park, the location is perfect for exploring the surrounding beautiful countryside available right on the doorstep. The afore mentioned Manor Park, once part of Glossop Hall, has around 60 acres and is less than a minute walk. Being nestled at the foot of the famous Snake Pass also means some of the area’s classics, including Black Hill, Bleaklow, Kinder Scout and the Longdendale Valley are easily reachable. Other Peak District towns and villages within a half hour drive include Buxton, Castleton, Hathersage, Hayfield, Holmfirth and Edale. The National Trusts Lyme Park can also be reached in around half an hour, as can Derwent Reservoir. The magnificent Chatsworth House is around a 50-minute drive, and Glossop train station which offers a direct service into Manchester city centre in just 32 minutes is just ½ mile from the property.
