This property has a security deposit of £100.. Rhydleos Mill originally served Llansilin and the surrounding villages. Local farmers would bring their grains for milling and then take their produce home. As the industry changed, the demand for the mill ceased and a local farmer then used the building for sheep dipping. In more recent years the mill has been transformed into stylish holiday accommodation and still showcasing many original character features. The handsome farmhouse, that originally owned the mill, still sits opposite the property and the water that worked the mill borders the grounds. Located in a peaceful and tranquil setting overlooking the local countryside and ideal for birdwatching, this well-proportioned, detached holiday property, provides quality accommodation for those families or groups wishing to explore the delights of Mid Wales, North Wales, Chester and the Shropshire borders. Local activities include horse riding, paintballing and go-karting. Guests can visit Park Hall, Powys Castle, Erddig, Chirk Castle, nearby Llangollen with white water rafting, horse drawn canal barges and steam railways, both at Llangollen and at Welshpool. Also, guests can visit the historic city of Chester, which is an easy drive and, one of the seven wonders of Wales, Llanrhaedr waterfalls which is within a 15-minute drive.
