There are wonderful walks direct from the door, with the added advantage of having pubs and restaurants within easy strolling distance which cater for those who like both pub grub and fine dining. Grassington is a hive of activity with a summer arts festival boasting famous celebrities, painters, comedians and poets. In winter it plays host to the Dickensian Festival to help you get in the Christmas spirit. Grassington itself is in the Yorkshire Dales National Park and provides easy access to stunning scenery, so regardless of whether you are walking, touring or cycling, the view is always magnificent. The bustling market town of Skipton is just 9 miles away and boasts a Norman castle standing at the head of a wide, sweeping, cobbled high street.
