Honey Cottage is a Grade II listed, stone-built, end-terraced cottage located in the charming village of Longnor, on a street famed for its appearance on the BBC adaptation of ’Pride and Prejudice’. Set within the Peak District National Park, the local amenities are positioned around the historic cobbled market square, just a short stroll away from the cottage. The village offers two dog friendly food serving pubs, a shop, friendly café and a fish and chip shop. Both peaceful and picturesque, Longnor is situated amidst beautiful countryside on the Staffordshire Moorlands and Derbyshire border. Ample cycling and walking opportunities can be found in the village and beyond, whether that be a short riverside amble or a serious upland trek. Honey Cottage is 6½ miles from Buxton, with its famous opera house, and 10 miles from Leek. The wonderful area is full of fantastic towns and villages including the ever popular market towns of Bakewell and Ashbourne, both around a 20-minute drive.
