Visit Plas Newydd National Trust house and gardens, home to one of the largest and most famous landscape murals in Britain, painted by the renowned artist Rex Whistler. Benllech offers lots of family seaside fun and plenty of pubs, cafes and takeaways. A little further along the coast is the pretty fishing village of Moelfre which is home to a working lifeboat station and museum as well as a fascinating sea watch centre. An easy day trip is into the magnificent mountains of the Snowdonia National Park, where you will find a fine selection of outdoor activities available, along with castles, narrow gauge steam trains and zip wire experiences.
