Star Croft is a traditional stone cottage situated in a secluded position on the owner’s 30-acre croft farm. This detached, single-storey cottage is accessed via its own private track, and surrounded by open farmland. The accommodation is open plan and this spacious area has an attractive living area, a well-equipped kitchen and plenty of space for dining. There is a large double bedroom and a second small bedroom, making this cottage ideal for couples and small families. The gardens have distant sea views, with sheep grazing in nearby fields. There are lovely walks direct from the cottage, ideal for dog owners and wildlife enthusiasts. Whilst very private and secluded, it is just a mile from the A9 and close to the renowned North Coast 500 route which passes through dramatic and unspoilt areas of the Highlands. Caithness is renowned for its wild and beautiful scenery, where visitors can enjoy walking, cycling, horse riding or climbing, without meeting anyone else for miles. The beaches here are simply stunning, with vast sand dunes and long sandy beaches and surfing and various other watersports are popular pastimes. It is just a short drive to either Thurso or Wick, where there are a wide variety of amenities and further places of interest. Beach 11 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 5 miles.
