No smoking. Please note: There are 9 steps in the garden.. Braeside Cottage is a delightful good-sized property, enjoying a prime coastal location along the stunning Moray Firth. Perfectly laid out for extended families to have relatives to stay with a ground floor single bedroom and a walk-in shower room to the first floor. The bright living room enjoys a dual aspect, with patio doors opening onto the rear patio. The kitchen/dining room has everything you need to enjoy a hearty meal or open up the bi-folding doors and have a little al fresco dinner on the sunny patio. Upstairs there are a further two double bedrooms and family shower room. Outside the south facing enclosed terraced, garden has a large summerhouse with power and lighting for evenings to sit out and enjoy the coastal fresh air. A short level walk and you are on the sea front, a bit further on and you are at the old harbour, which is the start of the Speyside Way, a long-distance path in the Scottish Highlands. The route begins in Buckie and ends at Newtonmore which is 85 miles away. The cottage is just a short walk from the town’s amenities including shops, restaurants, swimming pool and fitness centre; while further along the coast, pretty fishing villages are set against dramatic rocky outcrops or stunning golden sands. Other activities locally include fishing, sailing and diving. Whisky and castle trails are on the doorstep and a boat trip to see the dolphins and seals is a must. Wonderful clifftop walks studded with caves from Findochty to Portknockie and Cullen are almost on the doorstep and there are some good golf courses within a short drive of the town, including Buckpool on the west and Strathlene to the east. View the stunning Bow Fiddle Rock near the village of Portknockie or stroll along some of the amazing beaches which make up this glorious coastline. Beach 200 yards. Shop, pub and restaurant ½ mile.
