With a leisurely cross country walk you will reach Monmouth under one hour, a vibrant market town which is well served with a greengrocer s, artisan delicatessens and a wine merchant. The nearby Rivers Wye and Monnow have plentiful beautiful walks on offer, with kayaking at Symonds Yat. Follow the river for a couple of miles to Skenfrith Castle where you can enjoy a pint at the pub. Take an afternoon to stroll through the Buckholt woodlands or you also have the Forest of Dean for cycling, The Wye Valley for rock climbing and the Brecon Beacons National Park within an easy drive. For more serious walking, the Wye Valley Walk, Offa s Dyke Path and the Three Castles Walk are all within easy travelling distance. Nearby market towns include Ross on Wye, Abergavenny, Crickhowell and Hay on Wye. Set within an enclosed meadow with pretty wildflower beds, this stylish glamping pod has stunning views across open countryside. Step inside to the pleasant open plan living space, which offers space to relax with a sofa, table and chairs for dining and a small and well equipped kitchenette with a two ring electric hob, microwave and fridge. There is a double bed with a single bunk overhead (suitable for children only), and a separate double bed. The pod is completed by a spacious shower room with a double walk in shower fed by rainwater and a WC. Outside there is a patio area with picnic table and fire pit, complete with a starter pack of marshmallows, wood and kindling, and you are also free to use the enclosed meadow which is shared with the other glamping pod. There is allocated parking for one car within the farmyard. This property has a private water supply. Need to know: Open plan area 1 double and 1 triple bunk bedroom with single over double (suitable for children only). 1 shower room with double rainwater shower and WC. Two ring electric hob, microwave and fridge. Wi Fi included. Travel cot and high chair available on request. Open terrace along with enclosed communal meadow, fire pit with marshmallows, wood and kindling. Allocated parking for 1 car. Restaurant and shop 2 miles and pub within walking distance.
