After dinner, put your feet up and unwind with a sumptuous spot in front of the Smart TV, gently warming your toes with the glow of the electric fire, or throw open the patio doors and venture outside to soak in the last of the evening sun as you admire the peaceful location. As the evening grows darker, head back indoors and move through the lodge to discover three well-presented bedrooms, a double room, benefiting from access to it's own en-suite and TV, so you can catch up on your favourite shows from the comfort of the covers, alongside two twin rooms, each thoughtfully laid out with a hint of nautical blue décor as a nod to the nearby coast. In the morning, prepare for another exciting day ahead with an invigorating rinse in the spacious walk-in shower before joining your guests on the veranda for a steaming cup of coffee. Take advantage of the excellent on-site facilities at Skipsea Sands Holiday Park, where you can try your luck at ten-pin bowling, test your swing with a game of mini-golf, or make a splash at the heated indoor swimming pool, with an exciting activity programme as well as a baby pool for the smallest members of the group. Save your feet and tour the site via go-cart, try your luck at the arcades, cast off at the fishing lake whilst the little ones keep themselves entertained at the exciting kids club, and with both an indoor and outdoor play area, you're spoilt for choice whatever the weather! Take a break from doing the cooking and treat your loved ones to a delicious meal at the Boathouse Bar & Restaurant, followed by a game of bingo or a spot of live entertainment at the on-site Showbar, or if you'd prefer a cosy night in, pick up some ingredients from the well-stocked store, or a delicious takeaway from the fish and chip shop. After a day full of fun, make use of the on-site launderette to freshen up your holiday attire, or treat the kids to a keepsake with a trip to the toy shop. Escape the excitement of the holiday park and head to Skipsea Beach Social Club, conveniently located next door, where you can catch a spot of live entertainment, or cast your eyes down for a game of bingo. For a wider variety of amenities, venture into the heart of Skipsea where you'll find a traditional pub, the Board Inn Skipsea, serving home-cooked meals and a delightful Sunday roast, a village convenience store, and Mr Moo's Ice Cream Parlour, each open all-year-round for those guests traveling out of season. Jump in the car and journey to the popular coastal town of Bridlington, where you can expect thrills aboard the carousel or the waltzers at Bayside Fun Park, stop for refreshments with a scenic view across the harbour, or watch a theatre production at the Bridlington Spa. Feel the sand between your toes as you embark on a two-footed adventure south towards Fraisthorpe, where no trip would be complete without a slice of cake and a view of the front at The Cow Shed Tea Shop. Venture further afield and discover the historic market town of Beverly, famed as one of Yorkshire's best kept secrets, where the picture-perfect streets are lined with vibrant gardens, delicious eateries, boutique stores and a host of heritage waiting to be explored, including the Anglican church of Beverley Minster.
