Set at the foot of Cross Fell, the highest point in the Pennines.
Whether you are looking to explore the Eden Valley, The Lake District, have an action packed week or just get away from the hustle and bustle of every day life, this is the perfect place to stay. There is a network of walking paths from your door, this area is a haven for walking and cycling. Why not enjoy a day trip on one of the steamers on Lake Ullswater or visit beautiful Aira Force waterfalls which is a short drive away. Entering the property, you will instantly feel at home and see the history of this building. The open plan lounge/kitchen/diner has a cosy wood burner, TV and French doors which open out onto the South facing patio. The kitchen is well equipped with a gas hob and electric oven, an under counter fridge/freezer and microwave. From the lounge head up to the first floor where you will find a double and twin bedroom with a family bathroom which features a shower over the bath and WC. There is a private garden for you to sit out and enjoy, watch the local wildlife which often visit and it is the perfect spot to star gaze on a clear night.
