Number 10 is a wonderful cottage ideally located on the edge of a pretty park, with the benefit of being within easy reach of Matlock town centre, via a level walk through the wonderful park, and close to the local amenities of Matlock Green. This charming, characterful, terraced cottage offers an open-plan living, kitchen and dining area with wood burner to relax by. There are two bedrooms with fantastic views and a picture perfect bathroom with a bath in which to soak after a busy day exploring. The kitchen leads to an outside seating area where you can enjoy a relaxing drink by the river. The small enclosed gardenhas a gate to gain access to the main garden. The popular Peak District town of Matlock, together with its neighbour, Matlock Bath, has been attracting visitors to the area since the late 17th century when the spa was developed. Set within the beautiful wooded gorge of the River Derwent, the Matlocks offer a range of shops, pubs and restaurants, as well as a host of attractions, including Gulliver’s Kingdom and the Peak District Mining Museum. Magnificent views down the gorge can be enjoyed from the cable car which takes visitors up to the Heights of Abraham – a great place for all the family with its show caves, nature trail, water gardens and Owl Maze. South of the town is the start of the High Peak Cycle Trail, whilst a short drive away is the National Tramway Museum at Crich. To the north are the market town of Bakewell, Chatsworth House and Park and Haddon Hall, not to be missed. Cycling and walking are two of the most popular ways to take in the scenery of the wonderful Derbyshire Dales and there are many routes, trails and paths right from your doorstep, which sits on the edge of the Peak District National Park.
