The apartment is set within the grounds of the mid 18th century Kirby Fleetham Hall in the village of Kirkby Fleetham. Within the grounds are a church, a lake, well kept landscaped gardens, and a private woodland in which guests are free to roam and perhaps throw a blanket down for a romantic picnic. Walk to the pretty village of Kirkby Fleetham which has a village gastropub. The apartment is perfect for discovering the glorious countryside of the Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors with miles of walks and bike trails to explore from the doorstep. Northallerton town is 10 miles with its abundance of shops and tearooms, or Richmond (13 miles) with its cobbled market square, Norman castle, Easby Abbey and Saturday market selling local produce. Step inside this tastefully furnished apartment arranged on the first floor of a bell tower. There is a handy space for shoes and coats at the foot of the stairs. Make your way up the stairs and find your home from home. The apartment is beautifully bright and boasts views over the private lake and parkland. Down the hallway is a generously sized kitchen/diner which provides all the appliances you need to rustle up your favourite meals, which can be enjoyed together around the dining table as you toast to a wonderful holiday, while the idyllic window seat allows you to capture the best of the beautiful views while you eat breakfast. Take the steps down to the lounge room, with cosy sofas it's the ideal spot to kick back and relax after a long walk, boasting a feature fireplace with a wood burner effect electric fire and plenty of seating to gather around the Smart TV. When your eyes get heavy, head off to bed in one of the three bedrooms, each with built in wardrobes to unpack your belongings.
