Three or four people and one delighted dog are welcome to stay at the attractive, two bedroom property, which has been carefully restored and decorated. Head out from home to discover your surroundings and enjoy everything the village has to offer, including its open air swimming pool in summer. Visit Greystoke Castle, 0.5 miles from the cottage, or Dalemain Mansion, 7 miles away. Venture into the Lake District, under 2 miles away, to follow more footpaths and trails. Catch an Ullswater steamer from Pooley Bridge, 6 miles away. Head into Penrith, 5.5 miles away, for local produce from the farmer s market. Open the door and step into this Cumbrian cottage via a handy porch to find yourselves in the lounge/diner. Discover elegant accommodation, with a sophisticated finish. Light the wood burner, relax on the comfortable seating and watch a film on the TV, as the fire crackles. The kitchen has a vaulted ceiling and fresh ambience, and is well equipped with an electric, range style oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and wine fridge. Climb the stairs at night to lay your head in one of the two beautiful, double bedrooms please note both bedrooms have small double beds and therefore the property is more suited to either 2 or 3 guests. There is no dedicated parking at the cottage, but spaces can be found on the street or in the free village car park, less than 0.25 miles away.
