A must is to walk in the Farndale 'Daffodil Dale', renowned for its spectacular display of native narcissi in April, whilst the popular Wainwright’s Coast to Coast walk lies close by. From this Farndale cottage there are many nearby local attractions, including the pretty market towns of Kirkbymoorside, Pickering and Helmsley. They offer good restaurants, pubs and independent shops, whilst the Ryedale Folk Museum in Hutton-le-Hole is well worth a visit.
