Two bedrooms and a beautifully decorated designer bathroom make up the accommodation on the first floor of this cosy cottage, whilst on the ground floor the fully-equipped modern kitchen, featuring granite worktops, makes an ideal place for some lovely home cooking in the evening. A comfortable sitting room with a woodburning stove and feature stone surround provides the perfect place to sit and unwind after a long day of activities. To the front and side of the cottage is an attractive gravelled garden area providing off road parking and a seating area where you can relax, have a drink, and watch the world go by. Opposite the cottage is a footpath which leads straight into Matlock Bath, the Heights of Abraham cable car and the local railway station. Matlock Bath provides something to suit everyone, with its great selection of shops, pubs and cafes as well as a host of attractions including Gulliver’s Kingdom and the Peak District Mining Museum. Also at Matlock Bath is the starting point for the cable car which takes you to the Heights of Abraham, giving magnificent views down the gorge of the River Derwent. Just a short drive away is the lovely market town of Bakewell and Chatsworth House and park, making Rose Cottage an ideal place for a holiday at any time of the year.

Matlock Bath was popular as a spa town in the 1800s, and was also 'the cradle of the industrial revolution'. Amenities include shops and pubs.
