Furnace is surrounded by lovely countryside including the picturesque Artists Valley, famous Ynys Hir RSPB reserve, as well as the lovely lakes of Llyn Conach and Llyn Dwfn. This is a wonderful location for walking, mountain biking and watersports with the Ceredigion coastline, including the Ynys Las sand dunes and seaside resort of Borth, a short drive away. Discover historic Machynlleth, the fascinating Centre for Alternative Technology, exciting King Arthur's Labyrinth or spend the day on the Tal-y-Llyn Railway or in the delightful harbour village of Aberdovey, with its pubs, restaurants and lovely sandy beach.
