Situated on a quiet country lane and set a short distance away from the owners’ farmhouse, guests have access to walk throughout over 100 acres of farmland including 50 acres of apple and pear orchards. The colours of the orchards change throughout the seasons and in autumn witness the farm's apple harvest and jucing in Herefordshire. Other fruit picking and extraction of honey from the hives. There is an abundance of birds and wildlife in the area allowing you to enjoy the dawn chorus and late evening hoots of various owls. A convenient shed for bicycle storage adjoins the property making the cottage perfect for cycling holidays.

Five minutes’ drive from the village are two small local shops supplying newspapers and basic necessities, while travelling a little further afield will bring you to all the main shops and supermarkets you need on the outskirts of Hereford city. Herefordshire is renowned for its cider and perry production, which is evident in the many nearby restaurant and pub menus.
