On entering this unique accommodation through the old chapel doors you will see the tremendous height and vaulted ceiling, beams and the glass fronted mezzanine which is a bedroom suite area. On this ground floor there is a beautifully appointed seating area with sumptuous settees and open plan living with dining area with all the original church leaded windows. With Coniston just four miles away ideally positioned to explore the lakeland village, hike and enjoy water activities on the lake. You are just a few miles from Grizedale Forest with its array of cycle paths and tree top adventure. Within 15 mins you are also at the tip of Lake Windermere at Newby Bridge where you enjoy a trip from Haverthwaite by steam train to the tip of Windermere Lake where you can embark on a Lakeland cruise and see this breath taking area from the water to Bowness and Ambleside .Also just 20 mins drive is the pretty village of Cartmel with the ancient 12th century priory, home also to the UK ‘s smallest race course which has meets throughout the summer and the Michelin L'enclume restaurant as well as artisan food shops, cafes and vintage shops.
