Description

The inside of Jill's Cottage is bright and cheery, with comfortable seating in the living room and a well-equipped modern dining/kitchen. Upstairs are the two bedrooms, one double and one twin, plus a modern family bathroom with bathtub and overhead shower, wash basin and WC. Outside the rear of the cottage there's an open plan patio with garden furniture, which is a nice spot to unwind away from the hustle and bustle of the Lakes. There are also two off-road parking places for your cars. All the amenities of Keswick are on the doorstep, so whether you fancy a relaxing drink or an evening out at the theatre everything is within easy walking distance. Keswick is at the heart of the North Lakes and there's so much to do within a few minutes of Jill's Cottage. The whole family will enjoy a cruise on one of the Derwentwater steamers, while attractions like the Puzzling Place, the Lake District Wildlife Park and Go Ape will keep children of all ages occupied. The Kong indoor adventure centre and Keswick climbing wall are the ideal place to spend a rainy day, and for those wishing to attempt the real thing, Skiddaw is within easy reach. The active family will love the opportunities for walking and cycling that are literally on the doorstep.
